PRINTING
Printing is the heart of our business and an area in which we have deep expertise.
Our printing operations are supported by the latest flexographic printing technology
with multiple Bobst Presses. The computerized Novaflow ink dispenser and X-Rite colour
matching technology ensures consistent colour press run to run.
Our presses are supported by the latest in flexo print plate technology producing 1:1
reproduction. The result is sharper, cleaner images with no loss of detail. The
considerably extended tonal range captures the brand image on a package creating a
memorable and compelling consumer experience.

LAMINATION
Lamination serves many different purposes such as chemical resistance protection, gas barrier protection, grease barrier protection, moisture protection, package durability, seal capabilities, surface treatment for better handling on packaging machines.
Acorn has interchangeable lamination equipment – Solventless and Extrusion lamination machinery to ensure we have the right equipment to meet the most demanding end user requirements. We work with all the common films PET, OPP, PE, Metallized Films, Sustainable films and Nylon.
DOWNSTREAM CONVERTING
With our full line of downstream converting equipment, Acorn completes the entire package in house bags, pouches, roll stock and sleeves are fully manufactured in our Mississauga, Ontario facility.
Some of our additional capabilities include:
- High speed slitting for roll stock
- Pouch production, Stand up pouch with gusset, 3 sided seal flat pouch, zipper, tear notch, hang hole
- Bottle and drum sleeves, both singles and on a roll
